Rose Type: Hybrid Tea
Veterans’ Honor® produces large, beautifully formed blooms in a bright, true red, opening from shapely buds into classic Hybrid Tea flowers. The blooms reach about 5–5.5 inches across with 25–30 petals and are carried on extra-long stems that make an impressive display both in the garden and in a vase.
The flowers have a light raspberry fragrance with a subtle Tea character and perform especially well for cutting and bringing indoors. Veterans’ Honor® grows about 4–5 feet tall and offers strong disease resistance, along with good heat and coastal tolerance. Its best flower size is often seen during the cooler conditions of spring.
