Yes. Our hours may occasionally change because of extreme heat, severe weather, holidays, or other unexpected conditions.
During particularly hot weather, we may shorten the day to help protect our family, employees, and visitors from heat-related illness. Any important changes will be shared through our website and social media whenever possible.
-
No appointment is required during our regular posted business hours. Customers are welcome to stop by, explore the garden, and shop our available roses.
-
Not always. Roses naturally move through cycles of growth, flowering, and rest. Some plants may be covered in blooms, while others may have recently been trimmed, deadheaded, or may be preparing for their next bloom cycle.
A rose without open flowers can still be healthy and may bloom again after it has had time to grow. There are pictures of the roses in each group for reference.
-
No. Luna Rose Garden operates seasonally, and our hours and availability vary throughout the year. We are generally open from March through November. Each year, we close from December to February to focus on our annual business refresh, prepare new inventory, and complete orders for the upcoming season.
Exact opening and closing dates will be posted on our Season Calendar as they are confirmed. Our website may remain available for browsing and online ordering during the winter season.
-
For the safety of our visitors, livestock, working animals, and pets, we do not allow personal dogs or other animals on the property.
Our ranch is home to livestock, and Luna, our farm dog, is trained to help protect the property and animals.
Service animals are permitted as required by law. Please check out our Farm Safety & Policies for more information.
-
Generally, no — the property is not fully wheelchair accessible. Our outdoor garden has gravel in the parking area, which can make mobility difficult. However, the rose beds are placed on tarps to help create smoother, more consistent walking paths and reduce uneven dirt patches.
-
No. Although visitors may see horses, cattle, and other farm animals during their visit, they are privately owned and are not part of the rose garden experience.
For everyone’s safety, please do not approach, pet, or feed the animals. Large livestock, especially longhorn cattle, require plenty of space and can be dangerous even when they appear calm.
Instead, we invite you to spend time with our friendly dog, Luna — she absolutely loves people! Please check out our Farm Safety & Policies for more information.

Luna Rose Garden carries more than 300 rose varieties, giving visitors a wide selection of colors, fragrances, bloom shapes, and growth habits to explore.
Our inventory changes throughout the season, so certain varieties may be available only in limited quantities.

David Austin Roses
Availability from each grower varies by season and shipment.
-
Yes. We carry many fragrant roses, ranging from lightly scented varieties to roses with strong citrus, spice, fruit, tea, or classic rose fragrances.
Fragrance strength can vary depending on the variety, weather, time of day, and stage of bloom.
-
Yes. We carry climbing roses when available. Climbers are a beautiful option for fences, walls, arches, trellises, and other supportive structures.
Before purchasing, consider the rose’s mature size, sun exposure, and the type of support it will need.
-
Yes. We carry rose trees, also known as tree roses or standard roses, for in-store purchase only at this time.
Because some of our current rose trees no longer have their original variety identification tags, we are not listing them for online purchase until we can confidently verify each variety. Customers are still welcome to browse and purchase available rose trees in person at Luna Rose Garden.
Prices generally range from $60 to $75, depending on the size and maturity of the tree.
Rose trees are a beautiful way to add height and structure to a garden, patio, or entryway. They may also benefit from secure staking and additional protection from strong winds or extreme weather.
-
Yes. We occasionally carry miniature and patio-style roses that can work well in smaller gardens and containers. Availability varies throughout the season.
-
At this time, our roses are primarily sold as established container-grown plants. Container roses can be planted during much of the growing season when weather and soil conditions are suitable. Please check out Our Vendors & Brands page for more information.
-
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that every variety will be available at all times. Rose inventory changes throughout the season, and popular or limited varieties may sell quickly.
We recommend checking the online shop, contacting us, or visiting the garden for current availability.
-
Prices vary depending on the rose type, size, grower, container, and variety. Standard rose bushes, climbing roses, specialty roses, and rose trees may have different prices.
Please visit us or check our shop for updated pricing and seasonal promotions.

-
No — Luna Rose Garden specializes in helping customers select and purchase plants. At this time, we do not provide residential planting or landscaping services.
-
All plant sales are final unless otherwise stated.
Because roses are living products, their health after leaving the nursery can be affected by transportation, planting, soil, irrigation, weather, pests, and ongoing care.
We encourage customers to inspect their plants before leaving and ask any questions they may have. Our team works to ensure that plants offered for sale are healthy and suitable for purchase.
We do not offer returns or exchanges. Please check out our Farm Safety & Policies for more information.
-
Rose prices can vary because of plant size, maturity, variety, supplier, production costs, container size, licensing, and specialty forms.
For example, a mature tree rose generally requires more time and labor to produce than a standard rose bush.
A higher price does not necessarily mean one rose variety is better than anothe, it often reflects how the plant was produced and its size when offered for sale.
-
Roses naturally move through cycles of blooming and new growth.
Throughout the season, we may deadhead or lightly prune plants to remove spent flowers, damaged growth, or heat-stressed material and prepare them for their next bloom cycle.
A rose that is not flowering at the moment can still be healthy and actively preparing to bloom again.
