Our Vendors
& Brands

The roses you find at Luna Rose Garden are made possible not only by our family, but also by the breeders, growers, and wholesale suppliers who work behind the scenes to develop, grow, introduce, and distribute the varieties we are proud to offer.

Each year, we carefully select roses from companies we trust, with Star® Roses and Plants and Weeks Roses making up a significant portion of our annual rose inventory. We also proudly carry selections from David Austin® Roses and supplement our inventory throughout the growing season with roses from Otto & Sons Nursery here in Southern California.

These relationships allow our small family-owned nursery to bring customers a continually changing selection of established favorites, exciting new introductions, distinctive collections, and roses from breeders around the world.

Star® Roses and Plants

Green background with the word "star" in large white letters, and the phrase "ROSES and PLANTS" in smaller white letters underneath.

Star® Roses and Plants is one of the most important suppliers behind our rose collection at Luna Rose Garden, and we are incredibly grateful to carry a large selection of their roses each year.

With more than a century of horticultural history, Star® Roses and Plants is involved in rose breeding and development, plant distribution, and the introduction and licensing of new plant genetics. Their work has helped bring many recognizable roses and garden brands to customers throughout the United States.

Each season, Luna Rose Garden places a substantial order from Star® Roses and Plants, allowing us to offer both longtime favorites and newer introductions as they become available. Their catalog helps us continually refresh our own selection with different colors, growth habits, fragrances, landscape roses, and specialty collections.

Star® Roses and Plants is also associated with some of the most recognizable rose programs in gardening, including The Knock Out® Family of Roses, Drift® Roses, and Bloomables®, in addition to many individually introduced varieties.

We greatly appreciate Star® Roses and Plants and the role their team plays in making such a diverse selection available to independent nurseries like ours. We are always excited to see what new varieties and collections they introduce and to bring many of those roses home to Luna Rose Garden.

Weeks Roses

Weeks Roses is another cornerstone of our annual rose selection and one of the wholesale companies we are especially proud to work with.

Founded in 1938, Weeks Roses has built its business around roses and maintains a strong relationship with the independent nursery industry. Rather than operating primarily as a direct-to-consumer rose retailer, Weeks works with independent nurseries and wholesale growers to bring its roses into local garden centers.

Every year, Luna Rose Garden orders a substantial portion of our inventory from Weeks Roses. Their selection gives us access to an extensive assortment of Hybrid Teas, Floribundas, Grandifloras, climbers, shrubs, miniature roses, and many other varieties from established and emerging rose breeders.

Weeks also regularly introduces new roses, allowing us to bring some of the newest varieties to our customers alongside familiar classics that gardeners return for year after year.

We sincerely appreciate Weeks Roses for continuing to support independent nurseries and for helping make it possible for businesses like Luna Rose Garden to offer customers such a large and diverse rose collection.

From Their Nurseries to Ours
and Eventually to Yours

Luna Rose Garden may be the place where you discover and purchase your rose, but every plant has already traveled through a much larger horticultural community.

Breeders spend years developing new varieties. Rose companies evaluate, introduce, patent, license, and promote them. Wholesale growers produce plants on a scale that makes them available to independent nurseries. Finally, our family selects the roses we believe will give our customers an exciting and diverse collection to explore here in Cherry Valley.

We are sincerely grateful to the companies and growers who make our nursery possible. Our goal is to bring together their work in one welcoming local garden where customers can walk among the roses, compare varieties in person, discover something new, and hopefully take home a rose they will enjoy for years to come.

Please keep in mind that mentioning a company on this page describes our role as a customer, retailer, or reseller of its products and does not necessarily imply a formal partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement. Company names, rose names, trademarks, and branded collections remain the property of their respective owners.
