Rose Type: Hybrid Tea
Legends™ is a bold Hybrid Tea known for exceptionally large ruby-red blooms that can reach an impressive 5–8 inches across. Around 30 broad petals form a classic Hybrid Tea bud before slowly opening into a large, softly ruffled flower. The bright red color holds well from opening through maturity and may show deeper, almost ebony-toned shading at times.
A light to moderate fruity fragrance accompanies the oversized flowers, which are carried on long cutting stems surrounded by large, unusual red-green foliage. Legends™ grows upright to slightly spreading and offers strong disease resistance, along with tolerance for heat and coastal conditions. Its enormous blooms and good cutting performance make it especially striking in both the garden and the vase, with the largest flowers often appearing in spring.
