Rose Type: Grandiflora
Honey Dijon® is a distinctive Grandiflora known for its unusual “old gold” coloring, with brownish-gold blooms shading toward golden beige and warm honey tones as the flowers age. Cooler conditions can bring out deeper shades, giving the blooms even more richness. The approximately 4-inch flowers carry 25–30 petals, and their uncommon neutral-gold coloring pairs beautifully with many other rose colors in the garden or in arrangements.
A pleasant, moderate sweet and fruity fragrance accompanies the blooms. Honey Dijon® grows vigorously with an upright, bushy habit and produces flowers generously against large green foliage. Reaching approximately 5–6 feet tall, it makes a substantial garden plant while offering strong disease resistance, coastal tolerance, and good cutting performance for bringing its uniquely colored blooms indoors.
