Rose Type: Hybrid Tea
Grande Dame™ produces exceptionally large, saturated rose-pink blooms with a romantic, old-fashioned character. Flowers can reach about 6 inches across and carry more than 40 petals, giving each blossom a full, substantial appearance. The vivid pink coloring stands out beautifully against the plant’s abundant deep-green foliage.
Its fragrance is a major feature, with an intense old-rose perfume that gives the flowers a classic, nostalgic character. Grande Dame™ grows vigorously with an upright to somewhat spreading, bushy habit and produces blooms in nodding clusters. Strong disease resistance, low-thorned cutting stems, and tolerance for both coastal and hot, dry conditions make it a dependable choice for the garden as well as for bringing flowers indoors.
