Rose Type: Grandiflora
Gold Medal produces large blooms in a rich golden-yellow blend with warm copper shading and touches of pink. The flowers reach about 4.5 inches across and carry 30–35 petals, standing out against dark green foliage on a tall, vigorous plant.
The blooms have a strong fruity fragrance and perform well for cutting and bringing indoors. Gold Medal grows about 3–6 feet tall, offers very strong disease resistance, and tolerates heat and coastal conditions. It is also noted for having very few thorns, adding another practical benefit to this colorful Grandiflora.
