Rose Type: Grandiflora
Dick Clark™ opens from dark black-red buds into classically formed blooms with creamy white petals edged and washed in vivid cherry pink. As the flowers mature in the sun, the color deepens through burgundy tones and can finish a rich dark red. The approximately 4.5-inch blooms carry 25–30 petals and are set against very glossy green foliage, giving the plant a striking, polished appearance.
The flowers carry a light to moderate cinnamon-spice fragrance and are held on long stems that perform well for cutting. Dick Clark™ develops a broadly rounded, bushy plant about 5–6 feet tall, with very strong disease resistance and good vigor. It also tolerates heat, coastal conditions, and partial shade, while cooler temperatures can produce the largest flowers.
