Rose Type: Floribunda
Burgundy Iceberg produces distinctive cupped blooms in deep purple to burgundy-red tones, often showing a lighter reverse that adds extra dimension to the flowers. The medium-sized blooms reach about 3.75 inches across and carry 18–24 petals, standing out against glossy, medium green foliage.
The flowers carry a mild honey fragrance, while the plant develops a rounded, shrubby habit about 3–4 feet tall and wide. Burgundy Iceberg offers good disease resistance, is nearly thornless, and performs well in both heat and coastal conditions. Its compact growth also makes it useful for hedges and mixed plantings with annuals, perennials, and shrubs.
